The majestic president figures sculpted on the magnificent Black Hills are spectacular at Mount Rushmore! The view when I looked up the hill was definitely a treat to the eyes. These photographs were captured during my recent visit to South Dakota.

They are in your “backyard” so to speak…totally amazing images and really puts nature into proper perspective…by comparison we are but dots in an ocean, and yet think we are the best thing since sliced bread. There is do much more you can present with images if you take pictures thus good ๐

I usually see Mt. Rushmore photographed up-close. Your longshot is striking–a perspective that adds surprising power. Both shots are intriguing. Great post!
